Our Treatment Of The Month
Our Forest Therapy treatment uses Aromatherapy Associates products to help you restore, balance and ground. This treatment ritual brings the outdoors indoors, allowing you to experience the healing power of nature. With the ‘Restore, Balance, Ground’ mantra, this blend is designed to help you find solace from the pressures of daily life.
This treatment starts with a cleansing guided inhalation, and tension releasing long deep massage, followed with a warm grounding mud mask to recharge through hands and feet. Restoring tranquillity to the mind with a scalp massage.
Why Forest Therapy?
This treatment was inspired by Forest Bathing – shinrin-yoku (better translated “taking in the forest atmosphere”) – which has become increasingly popular in recent years. It’s even being recommended as a social prescription within the NHS, because the grounding eco-therapeutic effects have proved to be so amazing. Even 85% of adults reported back that being in nature made them happy and almost three quarters of those surveyed were concerned with climate issues, so it’s a win-win for both us and the Earth!
